UNHEALTHY THINGS YOU SHOULD AVOID DOING TO YOUR HAIR
#5 AVOIDING REGULAR HAIR CUTS
Believe it or not, not getting regular haircuts will damage your hair. Your hair will develop split ends and have an unhealthy look to it. Getting regular trims will leave your hair looking fuller and healthier.
#4 WASHING YOUR HAIR EVERYDAY
This may seem like bad hygiene but it’s really not! Washing your hair every day can strip away too much natural oil and leave your hair looking dry and unhealthy. If not washing your hair every day is an issue for you, sprinkle on some dry shampoo and go about your day
#3 TOO MUCH CONDITIONER
For many girls, conditioning is the best part about washing their hair but using too much can leave your hair looking dull. Using less is better than using more
#2 USING TOO MUCH HEAT
This is the most common mistake that girls make. Applying too much heat to your hair will leave it looking fried and dry. If you absolutely need to apply heat daily, be sure to use products that protect your hair from the harmful heat.
#1 PULLING OUT GREYS
A lot of times people freak out when they see a grey hair and immediately pull it out. Don’t! When the hair grows back it will stick straight up and will have a wiry look to it

WHAT TO WEAR TO THE BEACH
Beach vacations are supposed to be worry-free from start to finish, so don't stress out about packing for your trip. Getting dressed should be every bit as relaxing as a day by the pool. The key is to pack wisely and stick with the summer staples like sundresses and sandals, which can take you from a day in the sand to an evening on the town. Stick with a small carry-on suitcase and a beach tote, and be sure not to over-pack. All you really need for a weekend away a handful of dresses, brigade of bright accessories, and token pair of espadrilles.
Your makeup bag should be every bit as low-key as your suitcase. Pack a few beauty essentials, like bright lipgloss, waterproof mascara, and bronzed blush. You really can't go wrong when you're packing for the beach—as long as you have a swimsuit or two and a bottle of sunscreen, you're golden

MAKE-UP TIPS FOR THAT PERFECT BEACHY DAY
A full face of makeup just looks wrong at the beach or by the pool. Any products you put on should be light and sheer—you want to look like a sunnier version of yourself.
• Protect your skin. Before you apply any makeup, slather on a generous coat of sunscreen. Give it at least 20 minutes to soak in—it needs to dry for full effectiveness and so that anything you put on top won't smear. When you need to reapply, try a powder sunblock, such as Colorescience Sunforgettable SPF 30 Brush, which won't disturb your makeup.
• Forget flawless. In humid weather, anything that is creamy or greasy—like foundation or concealer—is going to smudge almost instantly. If you absolutely can't imagine going without coverage, try mixing a bit of foundation into your sunscreen and applying it that way. I prefer powder-based products, like a light dusting of translucent powder to combat shine. If you need to cover a blemish, use a stiff concealer brush or a Q-tip to dab a little pressed powder onto the area.
• Bronze yourself. Any makeup you do wear should enhance your skin's natural color. Choose a bronzer in a shade that looks like a natural tan, and make sure it doesn't have any shimmer, which won't look right in the bright sun. Dust the bronzer on your eyelids, just above your cheekbones, and on the apples of your cheeks, plus a little on your forehead, temples, and chin. Follow with a tiny bit of pink powder blush on your cheeks.
• Make it last. Most waterproof makeup sits there like glue and looks pasty. Waterproof mascara is the exception. Try a lengthening formula (the thickening and volumizing ones tend to clump). Consider a lip stain or a matte lipstick, since gloss will slide right off in the heat. I like bright colors, such as cherry red or vibrant fuchsia, which flatter tan and pink cheeks. Dab just a bit in the center of the mouth.
• Avoid touch-ups. My general rule is that you apply make
